Software Engineer, Buzzsaw.com, Inc., San Francisco, CA, 1999 to 2001

Worked with a team of 5 other software engineers to develop a web site called Buzzsaw.com for managing construction projects over the Internet. Companies such as Pulte Homes use the site to manage large building projects. The product allows clients to upload drawings and documents to our servers, from which team members can download, view, or update according to permissions. Secure access was managed with passwords, SSL security, and a hierarchical project structure. I was responsible for the server component, which used Microsoft ISAPI (Internet Server Interface), custom COM components (speed optimized server software), and MS SQL 7 database. I also wrote web site utilities written in ASP (Microsoft Active Server Pages), JavaScript, and Visual Basic.
